Hail Storm OKC Metro Area May 16, 2010

Hail Yeah.. OMG. Totally, absolutely crazy. As a daughter of a Roofer, and a wife of a Roofer, I have never ever experienced a storm locally so large. Luckily, I did not have first hand experience with the white hail stones that covered many many yards. My veggie garden (or should I say, Dad's Veggie garden) in my backyard got a nice hail free watering.


I made a call to hubby, who was driving home from TX on Sunday afternoon, and told him about the storm that was about to happen and then talking to him during the storm letting him know what he was going to encounter when he arrived home. Which, he ended up not coming home and went straight to work. He works at Basey's Roofing.

So, this summer I am going to be pretty much, flying solo... with all the kid duties! Wish me luck.
