Are you a visual shopper? Well, I was at Walgreens with a discussion with several other couponers today and the particular Walgreen's had the sign about the RR deal wyb Dove was under the shampoo and conditioner that was in the white bottle. My friend called me and told me that at her Walgreen's the blue ones were the ones with the sign. So, what we all thought at my Walgreen's was that only the white bottles would work in the deal. Well, not the case, it is blue and/or white bottles and the hair styling products as well! So there ya go, head back to Walgreens and stock up on Dove! Depending on what coupons you use, you can get them all FREE after buying 8, get $10 RR back.... I used RR's from previous week to purchase the Dove, so my OOP was less. Needed fillers though, since I used one coupon for each Dove. Picture above only shows 5, did not get all the Dove I purchased out of the bag! Let's Talk about Star Wars In Concert

We received 4 tickets to see Star Wars In Concert from my parents, and so we decided to take our 3 year old to see this Orchestra Concert with the THX Star Wars movies playing in the background to the music. He absolutely loves Star Wars, and is going to be a Clone War Storm Trooper (I think that is what it is called!). So we dressed him in costume and off we went to the show. (Poor 3 year old has never even been to the movie theater!)

I searched online before we went to see more about the concert, and found the Star Wars In Concert, website. But, I wanted more info. So, after going to the concert myself, I will tell you what I wish I would have known.

Before the movie, we walked around to see the actual costumes behind glass from the actual movie sets. We saw Darth Vader, Ewoks, The Senator, Yoda, and more. We also saw Storm Troopers walking around, and the Jaw Wa's too. Tip.. the hallways were filled with people taking pictures etc.. before the show, so if you have a young child that does not mind missing parts of the show, then that is the best time to take pictures!

First, C3PO's actor was the narrator. There was the live orchestra playing with different scenes to the Star Wars Trilogy in the back ground. They played the music and the movie scenes had commentary in them from the actual movie. In between music and such, the narrator would make comments, and then there would be special scenes that included the characters. For instance, Princess Leia, Luke Sky Walker, Anakin and Yoda. Of course there was more, but I would not call myself knowledgeable in this area.

We did not get to stay for the whole thing, somebody got a little to wiggly! So we left, the whole thing was probably around 2 hours. I totally loved it, and had a great time, even if I have not even seen all the movies! My 14 year old really enjoyed it as well, and said if I find some deals on the movies to make sure to buy them!

Recovering From OU Texas and U2 Black Eyed Peas Concert

Well... I have been missing in action. But, don't worry I survived my incredibly fun weekend. This past weekend, I was able to go to the OU Texas game, at the Cotton Bowl in Texas. The Texas State Fair, then off to gather some U2 concert tickets for Sunday night in Norman. Spent with Hubby, and his siblings and my sweet nephew. It was a fabulous Fall Break, (who said Fall Break was for students anyways)

Let me tell ya how we arrived to the Texas State Fair at 8 am in the morning. By police car, no we were not in trouble.. but we got a ride from some of my sisters friends. So how fun is that, a bunch of OU fans piling out of a police car at the front of the Stadium.

Then off to college game day, with ESPN. We hung out there for about an hour. Ate a Fletcher's Corny Dog, and headed to have some more fun around the stadium before the game. One side of the stadium Orange, the other Red! If you hated football, you would still love the game and the energy that surrounded the stadium.

OU Texas was incredible, even though my team lost the battle. Losing there quarter back Sam Bradford to another shoulder injury and losing the game 13 - 16. OU so should have won. Saw pig races, fried butter, fried pecan pie, fried peaches and cream, interesting clothing choices around the fair, and tons of people. We left the fair, by police car... off to dinner, (had to have some real Mexican food at Chuy's) crash for the night at sisters.

So, now for U2 Sunday.. the concert was fabulous. Minus the rude people who stood right in front of me (in my seat area) we were located on the walk through aisle and people thought they could just stand there in front of me! So FYI.. that is just plain rude, and my tickets I was given were a lot of money. One of my friends friend, could not make it to the concert and gave me the tickets! Somehow I can not post pic's to blogger right now.. frustrating..

Anyways, had a fabulous night, Black Eyed Peas rocked.. and they were right, "it was a good night."

Product Review and Giveaway: Pearls of Joy

When I was contacted by Pearls of Joy, I was thrilled, because I love pearls, one of my favorite pieces of jewelry is a pearl necklace my husband had redone for me for Valentines that my Grandparents gave me when they were alive. (it was an add a pearl necklace, he had restrung for me)

So, I picked out the earrings that hang done off a loop. Thought those would be a fun for a change. I got them in the mail, from UPS, so quick, when the UPS driver delivered the box, I had a hard time remembering what I had ordered! Oh, Pearls of Joy, offers FREE shipping with USPS!

Beautiful quality, I have compared them to my Mikimotos pearls, and the Pearls of Joy, definitely show signs of high quality pearls. (I am no expert in jewelry, these statements are my opinion)

Am I cheap? Frugal? Savvy?

Just have to vent a bit... I contacted a company yesterday to inquire a product review/ giveaway. Not an expensive item, most of their items are under $40. They emailed me back, well not really, the PR company was sending out an email to another person, saying they do not think they need a blog post done by a Coupon Princess...

So, was I offended, yes... Just because I use coupons does not mean I am cheap and do not like name brand items. Believe me, I do like name brand clothing, shoes, jewelery, purses and more! (Did you all see my Coach Bag post awhile back, where I directed you all to a 20% off coupon!) Anyways, will not go into detail with all the name dropping etc.. I am not a braggy kind of girl. (Which my favorite winter shoes are UGG's by the way) and thinking about purchasing a North Face Jacket! (My boys got theirs for their Birthdays, and high quality warm jackets are a must around here in the winter)

So, girls and guys... PR people, companies and brands, don't by pass us frugal money saving sites for your giveaways, because we save money on the small stuff, so we can have the nice luxuries of life. Since we save money with our coupons and so do our readers!

CVS: My Shopping Trip 10/2

So, I read all these great stories how people save a ton of money at CVS.. well, I did okay. OOP, was kind of alot.. but, I needed Diet Coke! LOL..

Here is the run down:
