Does Santa Wrap Presents at Your House?

by Shannon on December 24, 2009

Here is an interesting topic I have seen online and facebook talk. Does your Santa wrap presents, or leave them nicely displayed at the tree or fireplace?

Some of my best memories are me and my sisters, on Christmas Eve setting our alarm clocks for the middle of the night, so we can sneak a peek of the presents! It was so fun, I am sure our parents did not like that much, but Santa did not wrap the presents. Our Santa would lay our presents out so beautifully. One of the best memories is when I got a trampoline, and the box that the tramp came in the living room. I had not idea what that big box was when I peeked in the middle of the night!

Now, with my own children, we do not wrap Santas gifts for the little one, but recently began wrapping for the teen boys, so they do not do what their mother used to do…. We will unopen the little ones presents and lay them out so he will be ready to play.

Merry Christmas!

Santa doesn't wrap here. I've been told this is a German tradition? I don't know, but it's what my family did, so it's what we've continued.

We wrap most of the presents and leave one or two "big" ones unwrapped.

We don't wrap here either, thankfully!! That would be way more work than I need!

LOL sneaky fun.

We wrap. ITs so much fun to watch them unwrap and the wonder mint of their faces is always priceless. I hide special paper that ONLY Santa uses so they can tell they are just from Santa

HIDE the super big one's in the Garage to be brought in unwrapped since we've had rain or snow every yr to ruin my wrapping.
